Heat Pump Pool Heating Perth

A heatpump is a device that utilizes a percentage of energy to move heat from one area to another. Heatpump that are used for heating swimming pools transfer heat from the outdoors into the Pool water. Because they utilize heat that is currently readily available and just move it from one location to another, they tend to use less electrical energy.

As the swimming pool water circulates through the swimming pool pump, it travels through the heat and a filter pump heating unit. The heat pump heating unit has a fan that attracts the outdoors air and directs it over the evaporator coil. When installing the Heatpump Unit this is a crucial consideration because in order for the Unit to be effective it needs airflow. Liquid refrigerant within the evaporator coil takes in the heat from the outside air and ends up being a gas. The warm gas in the coil then passes through the compressor. The compressor increases the heat, producing an extremely hot gas that then passes through the condenser. The condenser transfers the heat from the hot gas to the cooler swimming pool water distributing through the heater. The heated water then returns to the pool. The hot gas, as it flows through the condenser coil, returns to liquid kind and back to the evaporator, where the entire process begins again.

Higher effectiveness heat pump swimming pool heaters typically use scroll compressors versus the reciprocal compressors of basic units.

Heat pump swimming pool heaters work effectively as long as the outdoors temperature stays above the 45ºF– 50ºF variety. The cooler the outside air they draw in, the less effective they are, leading to greater energy costs. Considering that most individuals use outdoor pools during warm and moderate weather, this usually isn’t a problem.
